Privacy notice

In short: we collect what you give us and what you ask the app to read for you, we use it only to run MyRecruiterBee for you, we never sell it, and you can delete it.

Who we are

MyRecruiterBee (“we”, “us”) runs the app at app.myrecruiterbee.com. For anything about your data, write to privacy@myrecruiterbee.com.

What we collect

Your account: your email address, and your name and picture if you sign in with Google. Sign-in codes are kept only as a scrambled check, for 10 minutes.
Profiles and CVs: the CVs you upload (PDF or Word), the profiles made from them, your answers to the profile questions, notes, the contact details and LinkedIn addresses on them, and the My persona and What I am looking for boxes written from them.
Jobs and companies: the job ads and company pages the app finds for you, which are public, the companies you track, and the people at them you look up. An email address or phone number of such a person is found only when you ask and pay for it.
Your LinkedIn, if you connect it: your LinkedIn profile, your messages and invitations, your connections, the people you track and their posts, and what you send through the app. We never keep your LinkedIn password: it goes straight to LinkedIn when you sign in.
Bee, the assistant: what you type or say to Bee and its answers. When you talk, your voice is turned into text to answer you; we keep the text of the conversation.
Writing with AI (Edit on My persona): what you type in its chat and its answers, kept with the box it was about until you press Start again, delete that profile or start fresh. It reads the CV profile the box is about, and may search the web for how a kind of work is described, never for you by name.
Credits and payments: what each step cost, the credits you bought and your plan. Card payments are handled by our payment provider; your card number never reaches us.

Why we use it

To do what you ask: build profiles, find and score jobs, read companies, find the people who hire, draft messages and run your AI agents.
To send only what you approve on LinkedIn. Nothing is sent from your LinkedIn unless you send it or approve it.
To charge credits correctly, prevent abuse and keep the app working.

We rely on your consent for your LinkedIn (you give it on the sign-in card, and you can take it back by disconnecting), and on running the service you signed up for for everything else.

Who helps us

We use trusted providers to run the app. Each gets only what its job needs:

Cloud hosting, database and file storage
AI model providers, which read the text of a step (a CV, a job ad, a draft) to do it
A LinkedIn connection service, which signs in and reads or sends for your account as you ask
Web data providers, for public job ads and company pages
Contact data providers, only when you ask for a person's email or phone
Email delivery (sign-in codes), payments, and maps (drive times)

These providers may store and process data in Singapore, the United States, the European Union and other countries. We never sell your data or share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is open. Start fresh, in Settings, deletes your profiles and CVs, your job searches and jobs, your companies, your AI agents and your message templates in one go; it keeps your account, your credits, your LinkedIn connection and Messaging. Disconnecting LinkedIn stops all reading. To have the LinkedIn messages we kept removed, or your whole account deleted, write to privacy@myrecruiterbee.com. When your account is deleted, everything goes except the records of payments and credits used, which we keep for accounting.

How we protect it

Everything travels over encrypted connections.
Sign-in is by a code sent to your email or by Google: there are no passwords to steal.
Keys to the services we use are stored encrypted, and only the app can read them.
Each account sees only its own data.

Your rights

Under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act, and the GDPR where it applies, you can ask to see your data, correct it, take a copy, delete it, or stop or limit how we use it, and you can take back your consent. Write to privacy@myrecruiterbee.com and we answer within 30 days. You can also complain to Thailand's Personal Data Protection Committee.

Cookies

We use one cookie, to keep you signed in. We use no advertising or tracking cookies.

Changes

When this notice changes, the date at the top changes, and we tell you in the app if the change matters to you.
